Bahrain's Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has issued two tender notices inviting firms to bid for contracts to provide contract management and construction supervision services for two housing projects in the kingdom.

The first tender includes the contract management and construction supervision services for the third phase of the East Sitra social housing project.

The tender was issued on 13 March. The last date for bid submission is 24 April.

The third phase of the East Sitra social housing project comprises 531 housing units and associated infrastructure.

The other tender notice includes the contract management and site supervision for 284 apartment units in East Hidd Village A2, C1 and C2, Plot 05, 06, 11 and 14.

The tender was issued on 21 March. The last date for bid submission is 8 May.

According to the tender notices, firms with Category ‘A’ license with Bahrain's Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP) are eligible to bid for these contracts.

The tenders will be evaluated in two phases to ensure they meet the qualification, technical and financial criteria.
